Hartford Symphony Orchestra will be honoring the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the historic
Asylum Hill Congregational Church (814 Asylum Avenue). This is a FREE concert. The event, The Fierce Urgency of Now, will feature vocalist Schauntice Marshall, special guests, and the musicians of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra led by Music Director Carolyn Kuan. Selections will include Seven O’Clock Shout, the Malcolm X Suite, and a Duke Ellington medley. Again, this concert is FREE and open to the public, so please feel free to spread the word.
