Due to the efforts of AHNA, Asylum Hill has been chosen to pilot the Resident Parking Permit Program.

This will allow residents who rely on on-street parking to have priority over others by registering and purchasing an annual sticker that allows them to park free of charge where so designated.

Currently the program applies to the Eastern section of Collins St, Sumner and Spring Sts.

Beginning in February 2024, the Residential Parking Program will expand to the whole length of Collins Street, with striped parking stalls around Sigourney Square Park and parking meters on Atwood Street. For more information, click here for FAQ, and here for a copy of the application.
